This past week I had the opportunity of designing the logo for Elles 2.0, a female entrepreneur community.
With Elles 2.0 our aim is to build a community of digital female entrepreneurs. We’ll organize a monthly event hosting 2 startups (female founders only) to share their experiences followed by a networking cocktail to connect female founders with their peers and break the business owner loneliness. A way to educate women about digital entrepreneurship here in France (and maybe abroad in the future) and help them launch/grow their businesses.
The client wanted a fun and feminine logo. It had to stand out while keeping the business side of the organisation. It is going to be used on banners, business cards, social media, etc.
Logo concepts
I presented the client with four options as seen below. The first two options were hand lettered by me.
Final logo
The first option was chosen, but without the curl in the “E”. Neon red (or Pantone 1935 C) was the chosen colour.
The client only needed a logo but I decided to build out the brand on my own. Here’s my idea for the complete brand identity:
Here is what the client had to say:
“Carmia designed a fun and colorful logo for my organization. She’s really nice and professional. For our next designs, I will surely contact her. Thank you!”
